Kletno Bear Cave in Stronie Śląskie

Skull Chapel Kudowa-Zdrój

Museum Folk Culture of the Sudety Foothills

The open-air museum of folk culture of the Sudetes (Skansen) in Pstrążna near Bad Kudowa (Kudowa-Zdrój) was built in 1984 on a hill next to a preserved forge from the 18th/19th century. Science and Culture Center "Old Mine"

The scientific and cultural center “Old Mine” in Walbrzych (Waldenburg) is a multicultural theme park, unique in Poland and Europe, which was opened in November 2014 and comprises eleven revitalized buildings that date back to the former “Julia” coal mine in Walbrzych. In the former Walbrzych industrial center, a unique place for cultural, educational and events as well as exhibitions was created with a total area of over 4.5 hectares.

Underworld Tour Kłodzko

The various passageways and tunnels under the city streets were built between the 13th and 17th centuries and were used to store goods.
The chambers even had a depth of up to 30 meters and due to the low temperature prevailing there, the products stayed fresh for a very long time. In times of war, the various chambers were used as protective systems for defensive purposes. The underground tour is about 600 meters long and is considered one of the most interesting underground tours in Poland.

 

Porcelain Museum in Waldenburg

Since it was founded in 1926, the Porcelain Museum in Waldenburg has been based in the classical Alberti House. A rich collection of porcelain from the companies Krister and Tielsch from Waldenburg and other Silesian production facilities is the focus of the exhibition. In addition, rocks and fossils from Lower Silesia and a brief outline of the city’s history are presented. The Museum of Industry and Technology is set up as a subsidiary on the site of the former Julia mine.
